The magnificent and sparkling opening ceremony herald the start of the Pepsi IPL 2013 Season in style at Kolkata’s Salt Lake Stadium. The place resembles a star studded galaxy with overstated lightings, the world’s cricket star players and performing entertainers.
Prominent artists from the entertainment industry, the international rap star Pitbull and Bollywood actor and co-owner of the KKR, Shah Rukh Khan, along with Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone own the stage and held rock over the full audience. In addition the celebrities performing, the stage was also set on fire by flying drummers, Chinese percussionists and wonderful fireworks.
The Skippers of the nine teams participate in IPL 2013 season six take centre stage when they joined hands to promise adherence to the belief, ‘Play hard, Play fair’ by sign on the MCC Spirit of Cricket board.
